Yes, it is. Our accommodation is designed to be accessible and can comfortably accommodate guests using wheelchairs.
Below is a step-by-step guide from arrival to moving around indoors.
1. Access from the parking area to the entrance
A private parking space (4m wide × 6.1m deep) is located adjacent to the house. It’s designed based on the dimensions of a wheelchair-accessible vehicle such as
the HONDA「N-BOX」 From the parking area, a gentle slope leads to the sliding front door (opening width: 837mm).
2. Entering the house
To keep the interior clean while allowing you to use your own wheelchair indoors, wheel covers are provided on a hook to the left of the entrance. You can find instructions on how to put them on
in this video.※Please note: we do not provide wheelchairs on-site.
3. Access from the entryway to elevated living areas
To move from the entryway to the slightly raised dining room and Japanese-style rooms, a foldable ramp (load capacity: 300kg / suitable for electric wheelchairs) is stored beneath the floor.
Setup is simple: ① Pull out the ramp ② Place it in position ③ Drop in the locking pins (no tools required)
