In late February, we gathered at OMOYA Soryo with botanist Dr. Yukitoshi Ito to learn how to identify the Seven Herbs of Spring growing in the wild.
"OMOYA" is named after the "main house," the central building where families gather and live in old Japanese houses. It embodies our desire to create a place where visitors can relax and feel like saying "I'm home." "Soryo" is the name of this land and also the place where our family's roots lie. The name expresses our gratitude to everyone in Soryo and our hope that this place will be like a home that connects the world and the region.
